February 9th. 2016. Commences at 6:30 p.m. Duration ± 2½ Hrs. Venue: CNT.
Contemporary Shamanism. The medicine of Neolithic cultures is not dead. It persists in many parts of the world, often under different names or guises. In addition some modern CAM practitioners consider themselves to be a shaman. This session looks at some contemporary practises, including those the lecturer has personally come across, and discusses as to whether holistic medicine could be considered shamanism's historical successor. Lecturer: P.H.


March 8th. 2016. Commences at 6:30 p.m. Duration ± 2½ Hrs. Venue: CNT.
Subject: Treating the Emotions and the Mind - Our Legal and Ethical Position. This seminar discusses a range of mental and emotional disorders and looks at the limits of Traditional Healing in this area. It also discusses as to what psychological conditions should and should not be treated by the Traditional Healer, and provides a possible strategy of working in tandem with Medical Specialist in this area. April 12th. 2016. Commences at 6:30 p.m. Duration ± 2½ Hrs. Venue: CNT.
Holistic Medicine for Disquiet Spirits. Many emotional disorders have a physiological basis, which can be treated by a combination of dietary approaches, herbal medicine and reflex therapy. This seminar looks at some of the physiological underpinnings of emotional disorders and discusses a number of treatment strategies. Lecturer: P.H.


May 10th. 2016. Commences at 6:30 p.m. Duration 2 Hrs. Venue: CNT.
As the lecturer is not available for this session and we are unable to find a replacement, this will be a general discussion meeting.


June 14th. 2016. Commences at 6:30 p.m. Duration 2 Hrs. Venue: CNT.
Subject: Gut Flora - The Latest Research Findings. There has recently been a great deal of research in the functions of the gut flora, both in animal models as well as in human subjects. This is slowly reveling that the gut flora has an unexpected and important role in health and disease. This session looks at the latest findings. Lecturer: P.H.


July 12th. 2016. Commences at 6:30 p.m. Duration ± 2½ Hrs. Venue: CNT.
Subject: Normalising the Gut Flora. This is a follow on of the previous session. How do we correct an ailing or dysbiotic gut flora? Are supplements the answer? What about Probiotics? This session looks at the facts and provides pathways to a healthier inner ecology. Lecturer: P.H.


August 9th. 2016. Commences at 6:30 p.m. Duration ± 2½ Hrs. Venue: CNT.
Subject: Ampuku. Japanese Hara (abdominal) palpation and massage - known as Ampuku - is used for both the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Abdominal massage is not specific to Japan, but has been used by many other cultures, including the Mayans. This hands-on session will deal with the basics of this method. Lecturer: S.H.
